got a question on belly fat

hey guys, i know i'm new and all but i thought i'd pick your brains on how to get rid of this belly fat i got. my stats are 5' 10" 245 approx. 21" arms 34" thighs 38" waist. for the last year i haven't been slinging much block due to the fucked up economy, so i lost my abs and got this belly fat that annoys the shit out of me. i do like my carbs though, won't lie about that, but i don't eat no junk or drink beer or coka cola. i'm laying off the biscuits till i get this figured out. the extra weight has been making me stronger, not complaining about that. i love lifting heavy weights, don't mess much with machines. i read where heavy lifting can thicken the abs also. i just started doing 30 min. treadmill after my workout. i was wondering if i need to stop lifting so heavy.
bench-475 4 reps
squat-600 4-6 reps
bent row- 315 8 reps
curl- 205 6-8 reps
close grip bench- 315 8-10 reps
i'd much appreciate any input ya'll have

BB, what are you on right now (AAS). I need to know that first to give you a good reply.

There's only 1 way to get rid of fat and that's by dieting....which means lowering carbs and adding cardio. That usually means the beer goes away and the fried foods, too (too much bad fat).

Well, my not-so-little-buddy, that's a great diet......if you're a powerlifter looking to set new world records in every lift! WAAAAAAAAAAY too many carbs for trying to keep the abs in sight. What the hell is with the cornbread???

You gotta make up your mind, here. Adjust the way you eat....permanently, or enjoy yourself looking big in a flannel shirt but like a beached whale barechested. Let me know which way you wanna go. I'll offer some general advice, but if you're serious about your abs coming up for air, PM me for a my fee.

Absolutely not. It's all about diet and cardio when needed.

Bump IW and Dragonrider. Cut out the carbs and keep up the cardio. As a former fatboy myself I have to make clean eating a way of life not a diet.

Im cutting right now taking in 1400 cals a day 15g of carbs and cardio 5 days a week for 45 mins or more.

Shit is not easy but, its worth it.

Im not telling you to do this, just giving you some perspective.
