How long is too long to wait for a package?

Packages typically arrive in 1-2 weeks and have for 4 years. Part 2 of the recent order arrived as expected but part 1 hasn't arrived and it's been 5 weeks since it shipped. I know I'm being impatient but should I give up or is there still a chance of it showing up? If customs kept it how long until I get a letter?

they dont send out custom letters i believe any more. i would contact the person if its been over amonth and get it reshipped.

The site said I should submit a new address so they could resend, but I don't have one and I'm not sure what I can do. Therefore, I was hoping someone would give some hope that it may still show up.

Go get a PO box, or a PMB from ups or something of the sort.

can take a while...finally recieved the rest of my order today....it was shipped originally in october of 2008

yep, yep...open a PO Box, or go to a UPS store and you can get a box with them.

I like the UPS Box since it has a physical address and you can check it 24hrs. Some places wont ship to a PO Box but everyone will ship to the UPS Box.

hell I ordered from a "certain site" last Feb. and here it is over 4 months later and still nothing-i don't think they purposely scammed me they just loose everything in the mail-this was the 2nd package of mine that they lost in the mail and I only ordered from them 2x they resent the 1st order and I got that...only took 2 and half months

certain places are better than others-I was always under the impression 2weeks domestic 4weeks international

it's a risk that you have to be willing to take everytime you order
